Welcome to Southern Oaks Ranch + Dairy
Southern Oaks Ranch + Dairy is a family owned certified educational farm located on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina. We are a private farm that loves to breed, raise, sell and teach others how to homestead. We also strive to offer pure products for our community. We have a large herd of organically fed, non vaccinated Nigerian Dwarf goats. Our registered dairy goats provide raw milk largely for our handcrafted skin care products developed for those with sensitive skin in mind. We are bee keepers that harvest honey regularly. You can find our farm fresh honey in jars for consumption as well as in our soaps. We breed chickens for egg production and process meat birds yearly, who are looked after by our dearly beloved Great Pyrenees. We look forward to welcoming cattle to the farm soon. In our free time, we enjoy the company of our horses, labrador, and friendly barn cat whom love to greet those who visit us!

This is our first year becoming a part of the Agritourism Association and South Carolina Association. We look forward to inviting families, schools, and other tourists to our small farm to learn about what we do and why we do it. A big part of our mission is to support our community and others who desire to live off the land.

Our farm is home to a one of a kind herd of ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats. Our organically fed, non vaccinated dairy goats provide raw milk largely for our handcrafted skin care products. Of course we love this small breed and their exceptionally beautiful temperaments which allow for endless hours enjoyment snuggling up or playing tag.

Throughout the year we propagate and raise several different breeds of birds for dual purposes. We raise and process Cornish Cross chickens twice a year as well as turkeys once a year. Our egg layers are constantly producing those wonderful colors you see in our farm fresh eggs! These eggs will also make their way into our incubator at the start of each spring for hatching of new chicks.
