30 minute hands on class designed for those who are new to goat keeping and would like to learn the basics of how to trim hooves.

This private class is offered for those who are interested in cold process soap making. In this 2 hour class you will learn how to make a basic bar of soap using our tallow and goats milk. You will take home with you a soap bar of your choosing from our products while yours cures.

A one on one 2-3 hour equipping class including a detailed tour to learn about each of our animals and their purposes on the homestead. We will discuss the ins and outs of goat keeping including breeding/kidding, training, disbudding, hoof care, nutrition, housing, fencing, and milking. You will be introduced to our guardian dog and learn about our pasture raised meat birds and egg layers. We will discuss natural beekeeping strategies. Bring your questions and get a true taste of homesteading!

This class is not for the faint-hearted. This 4 hour exclusive opportunity is for those who are serious about learning how to process their own meat birds on the homestead. We process our birds three times a year. During these times you can sign up to partake in this hands on experience. Come prepared and ready to take a bird home with you! Limited spots available.

Bring your class to come tour our farm! During the tour students will have the opportunity to interact with all the animals on our farm. From snuggling and milking goats to trying on a bee suit, your students will have a day to remember! This field trip is 2 hours. Students will receive a stamped agritourism passport for visiting. Educators are free!

This field trip is an extension of the Whole Group Farm Tour. Bring your students not only for the tour, but bring a packed lunch as well and sit at our picnic tables under the oaks to enjoy more time outside in nature. Be sure to bring binoculars and bird detecting skills as you will have plenty of opportunities to catch glimpses of the wonderful wildlife.
